It's Little League World Series Time - Play Ball! Here are a few things to check out during the series when not attending a game.
(Listed in Alphabetical order - be sure to check out their hours before you visit.)
Crosscutters
Attend a Crosscutters game. The Williamsport Crosscutters are a collegiate summer baseball team of the MLB Draft League. They are located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and play their home games at Muncy Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field. From 1994 to 2020, they were a Minor League Baseball team of the Class A Short Season New York–Penn League until MLB's reorganization of the minors after the 2020 season. Prior to this, they were affiliates of the Chicago Cubs (1994–1998), Pittsburgh Pirates (1999–2006), and Philadelphia Phillies (2007–2020).
Hiawatha Paddlewheeler
Cruise the Susquehanna River in style with a ride on the beautiful Hiawatha paddle boat just down the road from the Little League ball games. A journey on this reproduction of the original patriotic riverboat offers guest a taste of local heritage as they soak in the outstanding views of the surrounding banks. The “Hiawatha,” once used to transport residents to a park downriver, now delights its passengers with a number of theme cruises. From karaoke events to sunset concerts and dinner cruises, this paddleboat has something for everyone to enjoy.
Hill Slide
Slide down the hill. One of the most iconic aspects of the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA, is the hill behind center field at Lamade Stadium. Fans bring carboard boxes with them to the ballpark, using them to slide down the hill while Little League games commence on the ball field.
Little League Museum
Visit the Little League Museum. The mission of the World of Little League®: Peter J. McGovern Museum and Official Store is to inform and educate people about the history, service, goals, and initiatives of Little League® Baseball and Softball. This has been achieved by obtaining and curating artifacts and archival materials from the world’s largest organized youth sports program, and carefully presenting them in a way that is both informative and entertaining. Hundreds of these artifacts on display are organized for research and educational purposes and are used in exhibits to be enjoyed by people of all ages.
Visit The Original Field
It is known as “The Birthplace of Little League Baseball”. Located on West Fourth Street near Historic Bowman Field, it was the “Home of the First 12 Little League Baseball World Series” from 1947 thru 1958. Park Point, which is close by, is the site where the first Little League game was played on June 6, 1939.
