Why did you decide to buy?
"So, I’ve actually been searching for a house for over 2 years now. I originally started searching because I got tired of renting. I’ve always wanted to be able to create my own space in my style. I’ve only just now become serious about the search because of work-life balance issues (i.e. noisy neighbors)."
What was most memorable about your experience?
"My most memorable experience was walking through a possible house and Cory pointing out that the kitchen sink had a window above it. As simple as that is, that was something that I really wanted. I wanted to be able to put plants on the windowsill and be able to wash my dishes in peace with something nice to look thru. I didn’t end up buying that house, but I did end up with my kitchen sink window. It was something so minor that I had mentioned, I didn’t think that he would remember something like that."
Were there stressful moments during the process?
"There were stressful moments that popped up during my home buying process. Things were a little extra stressful because at the time I was working night shift during a pandemic where my profession was taking a huge hit. I was working extra hours and flipping shifts to accommodate the hospital. Cory would stay up and explain things to me during my normal business hours (nights) and walk me through the process with reassurances that everything would be ok. There were tight windows of opportunity and he was able to schedule thing that would work out in my favor."

"My mom was contacting Realtors for properties that I was interested in since I was night shift at the time and she happened upon Cory. He was very polite and answered all her questions with no hesitation. He just seemed like a great fit for both my mom's and my personalities. He is polite, kind, and has a sense of humor that doesn’t cross professional boundaries. He was willing to work around my crazy schedule. It was just so simple with him."
Jessica's advice for you:
"Do it! I moved to a quiet little neighborhood. I have a cute little neighborhood feel, but it’s only minutes away from all that Bloomsburg has to offer. The main strip is only a couple blocks away and it has everything I could need."
